Orinda Books Event
Helen Popper
Author of California Native Gardening
Saturday, April 20th @ 2:00
In celebration of California Native Plants Month, Helen Popper will be at Orinda Books to discuss her book, California Native Gardening. In this month-by-month guide to gardening with native plants, Popper shows how by following California’s unique, untraditional seasonal rhythm, home gardeners can have success incorporating native plants in their gardens––whether traditional, Japanese-style, or formal. With recommendations on where to view native plants, this year-round guide nurtures the twin delights of seeing wild plants in the garden and garden plants in the wild.
